Valeria “Val” E Wyant, 79, of Benton, KS, passed away Saturday July 9, 2022. Val was born in Albemarle, NC, on October 27, 1942. Val married the love of her life, Michael, on November 4, 1964. Together they raised 4 children. Val worked for many years in the medical field where she loved helping people and taking care of others. Val had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. She wanted nothing more than for those she loved to be happy.

Val was preceded in death by her parents William “WL” and Evelyn Penninger, and her sister Lenita Bratton.

Val is survived by her husband of 57 years, Michael M Wyant, their children Curtis of Wichita, KS, James (Stephanie) of Wichita, KS, Michael (Kristine) of Towanda, KS, Kimberly (Brijesh) Jagan of Rincon, GA; five grandchildren Ashley (Shon) Royse, Joshua Wyant, Nathan Wyant, Madison Wyant, Gabriel Jagan; three step grandchildren, Elizabeth Hardesty, Madeline Hardesty, AJ Hicks; three great grandchildren Louellen Royse, Alexandria Royse, Danny Royse; four sisters Thyra Yorke, Patricia (Ronald) Harwood, Pamela (Randy) Elium, Willa MooYoung; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 13, from 2-4 pm at Greenwich United Methodist Church, 5500 N Greenwich Rd, Wichita, KS 67226
