Ruth Anne King, age 84, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in Wichita. Ruth was born the daughter of Ronald and Clarinda Holmes on November 3, 1937 in El Dorado.

Ted and Ruth King were united in marriage on August 30, 1957 in Leon, Kansas. Ruth volunteered in various organizations and in her church. She enjoyed doing counted cross-stich and some quilting. She loved people and enjoyed traveling with Ted. Ruth retired from the Circle School District after 24 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ted, sisters Elaine, Pauline and brother George. Survivors include her children; Cindy (Rob) Roth of Green, KS, Steve (Stephanie) King of Wichita, grandchildren; Abigail (Kyle) Van Kooten, Melissa (Chad) Haden of Green, KS, Matthew (Lisa) King, Rebecca King both of Wichita.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 at 10:00 am at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 1550 N. Chapel Hill St., Wichita, KS 67206. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church or Towanda United Methodist Church.
