EL DORADO – Craig S. Johnson, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the age of 67. Craig was born on March 18, 1954 in El Dorado, Kansas to Nolan and Anna (Baum) Johnson. Craig was well loved by all that knew him and his “live for today” attitude . He was well-known by many to be the BEST hairdresser in town for 45 plus years. Craig was a very humble man who always shared a smile and a laugh, he would give anybody anything he possibly could when they needed a helping hand. He spent a lot of time with his friends at the VFW and will be deeply missed by all.

Craig is survived by his siblings, Nola (Larry) Holmes, Ken (Carol) Johnson, and Kevin (Kathy) Johnson; 8 nieces and nephews; 22 great nieces and nephews; 9 great-great nieces and nephews; and long time special friends (who were more like family to him), Charlie (Sue) Schulte.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Anna (Baum) Johnson; beloved dog companion, Mystro; and many loving friends.

Memorial donations in Craig’s name can be directed to the VFW 1174.

A Celebration of life is planned for Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 4pm at the El Dorado VFW Post 1174. Come share a story, a laugh, a bite, and a beverage.
