LENEXA – Sondra Sue (Lehr) Jennings died on December 2nd, 2021, at the age of 83 in Lenexa, Kansas. The Burial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of the Resurrection (Roman Catholic) on December 20th at 10:30 am. The church address is 4910 N. Woodlawn, Wichita, Kansas.

Sondra grew up in El Dorado, Kansas, and lived in many places, with her most prolonged residence in Wichita, Kansas. A faithful Catholic, she was a loving and devoted mother, an avid quilter and seamstress, loved dogs with a passion, and spent most of her career as an Optician. She could reliably find a four-leaf clover in any field.

Sondra is preceded in death by parents Nellie and Leo Lehr; brothers Raymond Lehr, Donald Lehr, Robert Lehr; sister Mary Lou Harms; husband Robert Jennings Jr.; and son Richard Tarrant, Jr.

Sondra is survived by her brother David Lehr and sister Kathryn Neill, sons Brian Tarrant, Gar Demo (Kelly), and Dan Zerry; grandchildren Trey Tarrant (Kristin), Chris Zerry, Glenn Tarrant, Russell Tarrant, Riley Demo, Asher Demo; great-grandchildren Lyric Snow, Caden Tarrant, and Jade Tarrant; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
