EL DORADO – Jeannie Mae Moore, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the age of 74. Jeannie was born on March 13, 1947 in Medicine Lodge, Kansas to Jim and Dorothy (Church) Thomas. She met and married her first love, Vernon Moore. They built a beautiful life together raising their children. After Vernon’s passing, Jeannie was lucky to find love again in Jerry Call. She loved her career as a cosmetologist. She was also a true farm girl. She loved to ride horses, and was even a member of the saddle club for several years. Jeannie also loved being a mom and grandma, and in her later years she loved being a dog mom.

Jeannie is survived by her children, Scott (Mindy) Moore, Cindy Moore, and Marty (Angela) Moore; grandchildren, Cereasa (Phillip) Patterson, Dustin (Savvanna) Moore, Jordan Moore, and Landon Moore; great grandchildren, Michael Smithwick, Jace Killgore, Heidi Patterson, Brysen Moore, Amma Moore, and Isla Moore; siblings, Linda (Tom) Wallace and David Thomas; and former spouse, Jerry Call.

Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Dorothy (Church) Thomas; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and spouse, Vernon Moore. Memorial donations in Jeannie’s name can be
