EL DORADO – Adrienne’s life began on January 16, 1955 in Concordia, KS; the daughter of A. Keith and Aunita (Hinkley) Anderson. Adrienne believed in education, earning her undergraduate at Kansas State University and earned her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Ft. Hays State University. She was united in marriage to Stanley R. Massey on June 10, 1978 in Belleville, Kansas. Adrienne was quirky and had a beautiful spirit. Using her degree, Adrienne worked for Terra Mara and Mid Cap working as a program director and writing grants. In her later years, she poured her energy into the Susan B. Allen Ladies Auxiliary, Sewing Saints, the Quilt Guild and was a co-leader of Good Grief. She loved crafting—quilting, sewing and knitting. Adrienne loved searching garage sales and estate sales for treasures for herself and her family. Her family includes her daughter, Jessica (Brandon) Epp of Waco, TX; granddaughter Aria; sister Annette Dwyer of Flower Mound, TX and brother-in-law Bradley Massey of Tulsa, OK. Adrienne passed away on December 8, 2021 in Flower Mound, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley; daughter Megan, brother-in-laws Mitchell Massey and Don Dwyer and her parents. Friends may gather with the family from 5-7pm on Tuesday, December 14 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 15 at 1pm at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Adrienne will be laid to rest at Seltzer Cemetery in Wichita.
