The El Dorado volleyball team gave all they had in a triangular meet with Buhler and Rose Hill Tuesday. The team went 0-2 in the meet but showed progress in those losses.There were stark differences in the team the Wildcats were from the triangular they hosted the previous week, due to players returning and more time to practice their new rotation.

The lady Wildcats tennis team traveled to the southeast portion of the state Saturday for the Neodesha Invitational in Independence winning two third place medals.

A year from now El Dorado hopes to have its first high school soccer teams join the KSHSAA. For now though the 30 boys playing currently and the girls this spring will have to deal with being a club team.

With a 36-14 win on the road at Valley Center, Andover picked up its 13th regular-season win in a row. The last time Andover lost during the regular season was in Week 9 in 2012 when the Trpojans lost to Bishop Carroll.
