The Flinthills volleyball team had their best season in a while this year. With a 34-3 record the team had one of the top five finishes in the school's history, ranking eighth in the Kansas Volleyball Association's week seven news release in Class 1A-Division I.That's something you don't typically see from a school of that size, coach Kent Harms said.

Jake Goldenstein already has three state medals to his name, including a state championship. He has competed at tournaments across the country. He has represented team Kansas in dual tournaments.

He was a key figure for getting the boys soccer program started 20 years ago. He helped create a girls team in 2007. He helped develop the youth soccer program.
