Rose Hill's track and field team has seen a huge jump in numbers from last year's squad, and that has given new coach Brandon Barger hope to get Rose Hill back to prominence. Rose Hill's track team usually competes well, but its had a slower stretch the past couple of seasons.A lot of kids didn't come out for track with the fluctuating coaching situation, but Barger hopes to stabilize that.

Rose Hill's girls soccer team defeated Wichita North 2-1 Monday night. Dominique Millsap scored the first goal on a punt assist by goalie Merideth Bartley. Alyssa Knaak scored the second goal for the Rockets.

Wellington’s softball team put up a bit of a fight against Augusta during Monday night’s doubleheader. The Crusaders led the Orioles 3-2 through two and a half innings and kept Augusta’s offense in check.
