Andover distance runners represented the Trojans well from the opening events of the Class 5A state track and field meet in Wichita this past weekend. Carly Flake started her weekend Friday at State with an impressive second-place finish in the 3200-meter run. She finished with a time of 11 minutes, 13.46 seconds. She was only 1.11 seconds behind first-place Piper Misse of Blue Valley Southwest (11:12.35).

El Dorado's 4x800 relay teams were at it again. At the Class 4A state track and field meet in Wichita this past weekend, both the boys and girls relay teams came home with medals.
