Jaret Koin and Tanner Schuetz combined to drive in five runs and Avery Reidmiller pitched five scoreless innings as El Dorado snapped a four-game losing streak with an 8-4 victory over Haysville on Wednesday night at McDonald Stadium.
Reidmiller yielded just four hits in five innings to earn the victory.
Schuetz drove in three runs, two with a two-out single in the fourth, when the Broncos (4-7-1) erupted for five runs.
Koin drove in two runs with a single in the third and a sacrifice fly in the fourth.
Maddux Solomon earned the save by getting an out in the eighth with two Haysville baserunners. He struck out the side in the ninth.
Shortstop Caled Littlejim sparkled on defense, being involved in three double plays. In all, he haldled five chances flawlessly. The Kansas State product was cleared to play after suffering an arm injury.
The Broncos travel to Derby on Thursday night.
