The El Dorado Broncos bounced back with a 21-11 win over the Dodge City As at McDonald Stadium Tuesday night.

The El Dorado Broncos bounced back with a 21-11 win over the Dodge City As at McDonald Stadium Tuesday night.

Trailing 8-2 in in the bottom of the sixth, the Broncos scored 18 runs to take a 20-8 lead. The As scored three more runs in top of the ninth for the final score.

John Sorensen led the way with seven RBIs on the night. He also had a home run and two doubles. He finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

Tim Schuetz went yard twice finishing the night with three RBIs.

Conner Allen went 4-for-6 with 4 RBIs and three runs scored and one home run. Brady Sargent went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

Tucker Catlett, Ethan Payne and Jordan Anstanding each had a RBI a piece.

Michael Cheney earned the win pitching two innings and allowing two earned runs and walking four. Maddux Solomon pitched three innings, allowing three runs, seven hits. He stuck out two and walked one.

Brady Tackett pitched four innings allowing six runs on four hits. He walked three and struck out four.

Dodge City used five pitchers Tuesday. Brett Johnson took the loss allowing seven runs on two hits and three walks.

The series continued Wednesday night and the final game of the series is tonight at 7 p.m. at McDonald Stadium.

El Dorado hits the road Friday for a three-game series at Liberal.
