Augusta All-state senior Jonny Clausing, along with other Wichita-area seniors, took part in the annual Kansas barnstorming tour at East High School in Wichita on Saturday.

Clausing averaged 14 points and nine boards in his senior season, as he helped Augusta to their best record since the Orioles won the state championship in 2002.

Devonte’ Graham, Svi Mykhailuk, and Clay Young were the three Kansas seniors who competed in the exhibition game against the Wichita All-Stars. Wichita East alumni Garrius Hollman and Jawanza Poland played alongside the Jayhawk seniors.

Clausing was able to play alongside two of his summer league teammates — Cody Mcnerney of Collegiate, and Devin Davis of Wichita Heights.

Clausing grew up a huge Jayhawk fan, and the opportunity to play with the Kansas seniors is something he will never forget.

“It was exciting and really fun to be able to play with those guys, and it was really like a dream come true,” said Clausing.

Clausing will take his talents to Topeka next season as a member of the Washburn basketball team.
