El Dorado senior Cameron Hunt signed his letter of intent to wrestle at the University of Central Oklahoma on Thursday. Hunt took home the 4A state title at 220 pounds this season and helped the Wildcats place fifth as a team.
“My high school coaches are the reason why I love wrestling and are a big part of why I’m able to wrestle in college. Everything I did in high school led me to where I am. It has made me a man.”
The University of Central Oklahoma is located in Edmond Oklahoma and is an NCAA Div. II university. The Bronchos are a member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
“It felt like home,” said Hunt about his trip to visit Central Oklahoma.
“They have a good wrestling program and a good Biology program.”
