Kelli Stewart signed her letter of intent to continue her bowling career at Kansas Wesleyan University on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Stewart has had an incredibly succesfull bowling career at Augusta High School, and is not done yet. Stewart was recently crowned AVCTL champion on Friday, Feb. 16 after bowling a 632 to take first.

“My coaches are awesome, they always push me to be better,” said Stewart.

“Most of my teammates are my age and have all pushed me to be better and have been great competition for me and put me at the level I need to be to bowl collegiately.”

Stewart chose Kansas Wesleyan for several different reasons.

“It’s pretty close to home, only about an hour and a half away, and they have a great bowling program.”

Stewart will be pursuing a degree in nursing while at Kansas Wesleyan University.
