El Dorado hosted Buhler and Wellington at El Dorado High School on Thursday night.

El Dorado opened the night with a match against Buhler. The first set remained close as El Dorado led 19-18 before going on a 5-0 run to lead 24-18 and eventually won 25-20. Buhler took the second set by a score of 25-18. In the final set, the Wildcats were down early but came back to tie it at 9 and led the rest of the way and won by a score of 25-23.

The Wildcats faced Winfield in their second match as they looked dominant, winning 25-14, 25-13.

Freshman Jami McCaig has been playing exceptionally for the Wildcats in her first season with the program. McCaig finished with 12 kills to lead the Wildcats. Carly Clennan finished with seven aces, while Sydney Scanlon had five. Hollie Gregg added six kills for El Dorado.

The Wildcats will compete at Douglass on Saturday along with several other Butler County teams.
