After a 5-0 loss to Wellington on Friday night, the Cannons bounced back with a 14-0 rout of Clearwater on Saturday.

The Cannons jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning when the Clearwater pitcher walked two players and hit another to load the bases. Bryant Klusener singled to right field in the next at bat to bring in two runs. After another walk, Will Clark singled to bring in two more and give the Cannons a 4-0 lead. The Cannons scored three, five, and two in the next three innings to go up 14-0 after four innings. Reagan McCloud and Brian Tims combined for the shutout. Six Cannons finished with two hits on the night. Bryan Klusener finished with four RBIs.

In the Cannons next matchup, they defeated the Wichita Marlins 10-7. After trailing 6-0, the Cannons added two runs in the bottom of the fourth before adding five more in the sixth to take the lead. The Cannons pitching staff allowed only one run in the final five innings as they were able to complete the comeback. Collin Nevil and Trevin Reynolds led the team with three hits each as the cannons improved to 21-17 on the season.
