Tanner Schuetz went 5 for 8 in the doubleheader to help El Dorado sweep host Haysville 6-5 and 8-3 on Saturday night.

The Broncos won the opener when Ben Olsen and Tyler Bailey hit two-out run-scoring singles in the 10th. Garrett Glass pitched the eithth, ninth and 10th to earn the win.

Trailing 3-0 in the opener, El Dorado tied it in the fourth. Schuetz led off with a single and stole second. Tanner White singled him in. Bailey singled in White and D.J. Grasso, who had singled.

Schuetz led off the fifth with a double and scored on Grasso's single to give the Broncos a 4-3 lead.

In the nightcap, El Dorado struck for five runs in the fourth to wipe out a 1-0 deficit.

Jaret Koin opened with a double and scored on Aaron Mack's single. Mack scored on Schentz' single. Kyle 'Barfield, who had singled, scored on a bases-loaded hit by pitch to Mason Goade. Schuetz and Austin Meyer, who had walked, scored on a Haysville error.

Kolton Schenker pitched the first nine-inning complete game of the season for El Dorado, helping the Broncos to a 5-2 victory over host Haysville on Sunday night.

Schenker, who will attend Eastern Michigan on a baseball scholarship next fall, threw a six-hitter, allowing two runs, one earned. He did not strike out a batter, but he didn't walk any either.

Centerfielder Kyle Barfield, who earlier this season set a Bronco single-game record with 11 catches, tied his record with another 11 Sunday night.

The Broncos struck for three runs in the first. D.J. Gasso was hit by a pitch and Jaret Koin bunted for a hit. Aaron Mack's sacrifice fly to right scored Grasso.

Barfield singled in Koin. Tanner White singled in Barfield.

The Broncos did not score again until the sixth. Mack walked and Barfield singled. Tanner Schuetz singled in Mack and Barfield.

The Broncos are off Monday and will journey to Hays on Tuesday to begin a three-game series that will round up the regular season.
