Tyler Bailey hit a grand slam and drove in five runs to help El Dorado outslug Hays 16-9 Thursday night at McDonald Stadium.

Baily's slam came with two outs in the second and gave the Broncos a 9-0 lead.

Bailey finished with a single, a double and a homer, needing a triple to hit for the cycle.

Josh Riggs added two singles and a triple, driving in four runs as the Broncos broke a three-game losing streak.

After Hays sliced the Broncos lead to 9-7, El Dorado struck in the fifth for a run. Bailey ledd off with a double and trotted home on Ben Olsen's double.

The Broncos added four in the seventh. Tanner White, Olsen and Mason Goade walked to load the bases. Hunter Larson's single sent White and Olsen scampering home. Riggs then tripled home Goade and Larson.

El Dorado willl open a three-game series with Jayhawk-leading Liberal on Friday at McDonald Stadium.
