Lightning suspened the El Dorado-Derby game at Derby on Wednesday night.

Derby led 7-5, but El Dorado had two runners on base with the game was suspended.

The rules specify that if the team trailing has the tieing run on base, it is a suspended game.

The game will be continued at a later date.

The Broncos got a gift run in the first when Jaret Koin walked, was balked to second, went to third on an infiled out and scored on a wild pitch.

El Dorado gave the run back in the third. Noah Bland, stole second and went to third on shortstop Tyler Bailey's error.

El Dorado tacked on three more runs in the fifth. Biiley singled and scored on a balk. Koin singled and scored on Kyle Barfield's double. Barfield scored on a Derby throwning error.

Derby broke a 4-4 tie in the fifth with three runs, two of which were unearned.

The Broncos got one back in the sixth when Austin Meyer singled and scored on Koin's two-out single.
