All-State recognition for individual bowlers recently was released, and Augusta’s bowling program had strong representation.
Kellee Roberts was named the Class 4-1A Coach of the Year, an impressive feat as she continues to keep the Oriole program consistently strong. The girls team dominated most of the season and qualified for State as a team while several individual boys had standout years, with a couple qualifying for State, as well.
Three Orioles earned First Team All-State recognition. Abby Emmitt and Kelli Stewart were First Team for the girls, and Tyler Fieser was First Team for the boys in Class 4-1A.
Darienne Roberts, Becca Spyres and Kamron Newman were named Second Team All-State.
