E Dorado’s boys basketball team finished with a respectable eight wins this season. In league play, though, the Wildcats only managed two wins in what proves to be one of the toughest leagues in the state every year.

Despite just a 2-8 record in league play, three Wildcats earned postseason recognition.

Jarin Koehler, who is only a sophomore, and Tyler Michaelis, who is a senior, both earned First Team All-Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League-Div. III honors for El Dorado. Koehler brings good size to the court and can score inside and out when needed. Michaelis was a strong point guard on the offensive end with defensive prowess.

Senior Trevor Burnett earned All-League honorable Mention for the Wildcats. Burnett showed flashes of brilliance on the offensive end at times this season.

McPherson and Buhler both tied with five All-League selections to lead the league.
