Games between Andover and Andover Central’s girls basketball team usually are epic, but the Trojans and Jaguars took the rivalry to another level Tuesday night.

The teams couldn’t decide a winner in regulation. They couldn’t even decide in overtime. It wasn’t until after double overtime when the Jaguars gutted out an incredible 49-43 win over Andover in a memorable contest with great effort from both teams.

Jewell Bolden finished with a game-high 22 points. She scored three points in the two overtime periods, all at the line as she finished the game 10-of-13 at the charity stripe.

Ryann Stearns and Ashtyn Brown scored the only two field goals in OT for the Jaguars.

The Trojans led the Jaguars 35-29 going into the fourth quarter. But they missed seven free throws down the stretch and scored just four points in the quarter as Central rallied to tie it 39-39.

Kylee Gaddis scored a team-high 20 points for the Trojans. She made six field goals, two of which were 3-pointers, and hit 6 of 11 free throws.

Shanti Henry added 13 points, including three 3-pointers, for Andover.
