Theonia N. Wilson, 93, passed away Aug. 23, 2018

Theonia Nadine Wilson, 93, of El Dorado passed away on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.  
Theonia’s life began on March 29, 1925 in Winfield.  She was the daughter of Claude and Beulah (Cook) Lumbert.  Theonia was a graduate of Winfield High School and was united in marriage to Frederick Wilson on Sept. 30, 1945 in Winfield.  Theonia had worked for Roper-Lanco in Andover for several years as well as other area businesses.  She enjoyed crocheting, water aerobics at the YMCA, and travelling.  Theonia was a member of the First Christian Church and TOPS.
 Her loving family includes: her children, Frederick Wilson, Jr. of El Dorado, Larry (Judy) Wilson of El Dorado, William (Grace) Wilson of Tulsa, Okla., David (Debra) Wilson of El Dorado, John Wilson of El Dorado, Patricia “Pat” McCurdy of El Dorado, and Karen (John) Glaves of El Dorado; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.  
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Frederick and son in law Bob McCurdy.
Her family will gather with friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the Carlson Colonial Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday  at the First Christian Church, led by Pastor Stan Seymour.  Burial will be in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
