Jacqueline Marie Flint, 86, died on June 30, 2018

Jacqueline Marie (Grant) Flint, 86, died on June 30, 2018.
Jacqueline was born on Jan. 17, 1932  in El Dorado, to John and Flora Grant. Her four sisters were Beula, Katherine, Evelyn, Ferne and one brother, John.
She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1950. She married Paul Flint on July 9, 1950. He was attending community college after serving in the army during WWII. They moved to the central valley of California where Paul worked for the railroad. In 1955 Paul got a job with Standard Oil in El Segundo. They bought a house in Torrance and raised three sons.
Jacqueline volunteered for the Election Board and Meals on Wheels. She worked for a real estate company for years. She made many friends and got together every month to celebrate their birthdays.
In 1979 Paul transferred to ARAMCO and went to work in Saudi Arabia. Jacqueline went with him. They stayed for 5 years and during that time traveled all over the world. After Paul retired they moved to Manteca, Calif.  to be near their grandchildren. They were generous and supportive of their grandkids. Paul passed away in 1996. Jacqueline moved to Orange County, Calif.
She liked to go to casinos and usually took a friend or her sister Ferne with her. She liked to read and work crossword puzzles. She made friends everywhere she went. She was generous and would help strangers in need.
Jacqueline is survived by: her sons, Ralph, Phillip and wife Sheila, and Steven;  5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Jacqueline will be greatly missed by her family.
