Lura E. (Qualls) Jackson, 92, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018.
Her family will gather with friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday; funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on  Saturday, Jan. 13,  both at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at  Rocky Cemetery in Sims, Ark., with viewing at the cemetery prior to the graveside service.
Lura was born on June 23, 1925, the daughter of Ebb and Artha (Rains) Qualls in Sims, Ark.  She attended Mt. Ida, Ark. schools and married Raymond Jackson. She worked as a cook at an assisted living facility in Mt. Ida.  Lura loved to go to the casino, play Bingo, going to Wal-Mart and her stuffed animals.
Her loving family includes: her daughter, Sharon Lacey of El Dorado; brother, Lloyd Qualls of Visalia, Calif. ; her best friend, Paulette Johnson of El Dorado; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved pet Yorkie “Puppy”.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond in 1990; siblings, Dossie Qualls, Lossie Pippin, Ebb Lee Qualls and her son-in-law, Ron Lacey.
