Joseph “Marvin” Conner, 92, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at Lakepoint in El Dorado.
Visitation with family present will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday; funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, held by Chaplain Roger Megli, all at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home in El Dorado.  Burial with military honors will be in the Bella Vista Cemetery, El Dorado.
Marvin was born on Nov. 17, 1924, in Hunter, Mo., the son of William E. and Nellie A. (Meek) Conner.  Marvin served his country in the United States Army as a staff sergeant during World War II in Indonesia.  He was the co-owner of the El Dorado Dairy and a very faithful active member of Temple Baptist Church.  
Marvin is survived by his loving family which includes: his wife Martha Conner of El Dorado; daughter,  Nancy (Don) Love of Rosalia; grandchildren, David (Nelda) Love of Belvidere, Ill., and Dallas ( Cathy) Love of Cairo, Neb.; great grandchildren, Ruth, A.J. and Benjamin; and siblings, Wilma Jackson of Anadarko, Okla., Ruth (Johnny) Edgeller of West Plaines, Mo., Marjorie (Raymond) Dudley of Pacific, Mo., and Joanna Corman of West Plaines, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, two spouses, two infant sons and nine siblings.
