Emmajean Morgan, 74, passed away on Sept. 13, 2017
Emmajean Morgan, 74, of Alton, Ill., and formerly of El Dorado, passed away on Sept. 13, 2017, at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Ill.
Friends may gather on Sunday from 1 – 2 p.m. at the Kirby Morris Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. led by Pastor John Harms. Burial will be in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
Emmajean was born on Oct. 24, 1944, in El Dorado, the daughter of Maurice and Wilma (Wilson) Morgan. Emmajean was a graduate of El Dorado High School and Butler County Junior College. She enjoyed a long career as a respiratory therapist at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Emmajean loved to help people and had a heart of gold. She was a good cook and loved cooking spicy treats- anything with chili romano or jalapenos were favorites.
Emmajean is survived by her lifelong friend Wanda Knowles and family of El Dorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jerry and Roger Morgan.
