Margaret A. Taylor, 90, passed away on Aug. 2, 2017

Margaret Anne Olson Hamilton Taylor, 90, of Augusta, formerly of Clarinda, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
A visitation will be held 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, Aug.4, 2017, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.  A second visitation will be held 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017 at Ritchie Funeral Home, Clarinda, Iowa.  Service will be held 10  a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at Hillside Missionary Church, Clarinda, Iowa. Burial will follow the service at Clarinda Cemetery.
Margaret was born in Flagler, Colo. on Sept. 14, 1926. Her parents were Paul Edgar Olson and Agnes Helga Elfrida Edwardson. Elfrida later married Vernie Leroy Olson. Margaret graduated in 1944 from Clarinda High School in Clarinda, Iowa.  After graduation from high school she traveled  in a women's orchestra, playing french horn, to perform in military bases in the United States. On Feb. 21, 1947, she married Harold Lee Hamilton, who preceded her in death.  She later married Dana E. Taylor on Nov. 22, 1981, who preceded her in death as well. She was also preceded in death by her father, Paul Olson; mother, Elfrida Olson; step father, Vernie Olson; son in law, Craig Chapman; brother, John Eldon Olson and wife Anne.
She is survived by: daughters, Janice Louise Chapman of Reston, Va., Marcia Jean Fuller and husband William of Augusta, Elinor Anne  Hamilton of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Julia Marie Nutt and husband Roland of Curtis, Neb.; son, Paul Harold Hamilton and wife Beth of Goshen, Ind.; sister, Laverne  Ranne  of Augusta; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
