Paul R. McDaniel, 70, passed away on June 13, 2017

Paul Raymond McDaniel, age 70, a resident of Interlachen, Florida, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the VA Medical Center in Wichita.  
He was born May 5, 1947, in El Dorado, the son of Dennis McDaniel and Erma Peebles McDaniel.  He served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  Following his military service, he worked in maintenance and had last worked for the City of Interlachen.  He enjoyed fishing and crafts especially with wood and leather.
Survivors include: his wife, Debra, of the home; five children, Troy McDaniel, of Dorchester, S.C., Paula McDaniel, of Middleburg, Fla., Valerie Agostini and husband, Kenneth, of Middleburg, Fla., Sandra Tuttle, of Palatka, Fla., and Nathan McDaniel and wife, Becky Whitley, also of Middleburg; 13  grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; brother, Marvin McDaniel, of Arkansas City, Kan.; sister, Mona Rowland, of Leon.  
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David and Dale; a sister, Martha.
There was cremation.  A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2017,  at the Fairview Cemetery east of Mildred, Kan.
