Outstanding achievements!

St. James Catholic School recognized three students on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Back-to-School Open House/Parent Night for outstanding achievement on assessments.  
Anthony Korte, Carter McClure and Jacob Otto, all fourth graders at St. James Catholic School in Augusta,  were recognized by Richard Guy, School Principal, and Father John Hay, for earning 100 percent on the Catholic Diocese of Wichita Diocesan Religion Assessment.  Anthony Korte also received 100 percent on the ELA portion of the Kansas State Assessments.  
During the Open House, Richard Guy school principal, announced that St. James Catholic School was one of five schools throughout the Diocese that received the St. Robert Bellarmine Award for being in the top 10 percent of schools in the state of Kansas for ELA.  Receiving the award for the school staff was Amy Haist and Nancy Clark.
