The 4-H County Fair is happening!

The Butler County 4-H Fair kicked off this weekend.
Saturday’s schedule included 4-H members showing cattle, calves, goats and sheep checking in.
Morgan Harvey, a member of Lily Lake 4-H Club, is 8 years-old and in her first year showing sheep at the Fair.
Morgan, a third generation 4-H’er, was in the livestock area with her sheep, “Spot” and “Oakie” and looking on was her proud grandmother, Ann Harvey, a former 4-H member and mother of a daughter and son, who were both members of Lily Lake 4-H Club while growing up.
“Morgan is a third generation 4-H member.  She enjoys it and she’s done a great job,” Ann said.
The Butler County Fair continues Wednesday night culminating with the Lifestock Judging Contest, the Barnyard Olympics, Friends of 4-H Supper, Awards Presentation, Livestock Auction, Evening Ice Cream, and  Evening Watermelon.
