Recognizing those who helped
United Way of El Dorado successfully surpassed their 2017-2018 campaign goal of $325,000 by raising $329,510.
Andrea Van Auken, Executive Director of United Way of El Dorado credits a number of businesses and individuals for topping the goal.
“We want to thank all of our businesses and individuals who made this possible!” She said.
Awards were presented at the Celebration Luncheon recently.
The Gold Award went to HollyFrontier and their employees for raising $194,240.08
The Silver Award went to NuStar Energy LP and their employees for raising $24,286.50
The Bronze Award went to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital and their employees for raising $17,069.04
The Community Partner of the Year Award went to Dillions in El Dorado and their employees for their community involvement and volunteerism.
Walmart in El Dorado earned the Community Service Award for their amazing support and donations given to the community.
Van Auken stated, “We are so humbled by the giving hearts in our community and how everyone came together to achieve a goal. When I took on the Executive Director position in August I was honestly unsure how I was going to achieve $325,000 in a few months with only a month to prepare. By the middle of the campaign I was bought to tears seeing how generously our community gives and the amazing support of United Way of El Dorado’s Board of Directors. These funds are going to help many individuals, families, kids, and seniors in our town and it is an amazing feeling to be a part of that!”The United Way of El Dorado wishes to recognize the following donors:
