Ticia White, dies in Tuesday afternoon crash

Ticia White, a 30-year-old rural Douglass woman, was killed Tuesday afternoon near SW 210th Road and Adams, near Douglass.
Witnesses reported that White, driving a Camaro was eastbound car and crossed the center line, striking the rear end of a tractor-trailer truck headed west.  White's vehicle continued in that lane and collided with a 1997 Oldsmobile traveling behind the truck and operated by Ashley Strobbe, 20.

White was airlifted to a Wichita hospital, where she died at approximately 6:50 p.m.
Butler County Sheriff Kelly Herzet advised that in the backseat of Strobbe's car were a three-year-old and one-month old, both properly restrained in child seats.  The three-year-old received a laceration.  Strobbe and the two children were taken by Butler County EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Sheriff Herzet stated that the accident is still under investigation.
