To commemorate five years at Kansas Secured Title's current location at 220 W. Central Ave. in El Dorado, the title company held a grand re-opening from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19. Food, drinks and give-a-ways were available for guests.
"This is a newer building .... It's more modern than our old one. It's still a great location for us – we're right across the street from the courthouse," Deb Ward, KST title officer, said.
The company's previous site in El Dorado was another West Central Avenue location, where they spent a number of years. KST is the oldest title company in Kansas and has been in Butler County for over 100 years. It started as Boyden Abstract Company in the 1880s, and now there are multiple KST locations throughout the State of Kansas.
Ward emphasized the quality of staff at KST and their efforts to provide service beyond expectation for anyone wanting to buy, sell or refinance a home at any level of transaction.
