The Walnut River Festival in El Dorado will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday in Downtown El Dorado. There are plenty of events, music and other activities occurring during the day. Here is a full schedule:

The Walnut River Festival partners with USD 490 each year to highlight students and the relationship between local businesses and the schools. Elementary classrooms decorate the windows of local businesses.

HollyFrontier sponsors a Scarecrow Contest that provides money for participating PreK-eighth grade classrooms. Student groups also per form onstage during the festival.
