The Haverhill Beautification project received a $500 grant from the Greater Butler County Impact Fund through the Central Kansas Community Foundation Butler County affiliate. These funds will be used toward the landscaping of the grounds of the B.G. Products Veterans Sports Complex.

“We thank the Community Foundation for the assistance in our project. It’s certainly appropriate to come from the “impact” fund as the landscape of the stadium grounds certainly impacts the beauty of the state of the art sports complex,.” Stated Lou Clennan, project chair.

The Central Kansas Community Foundation – Butler County assists donors in building permanent endowments for charitable needs in our greater Butler County communities. A mission is to increase the capacity of non profit organizations to fulfill their individual missions.

The initial phase of the beautification project is close to completion. A recognition of donors is planned for August 26 at 5:30 pm prior to the BCC opening Football game, at the entrance of the stadium.
