Heather Cave has been appointed executive director of Life Care Center of Andover, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

“I am happy to be at Life Care Center of Andover,” Cave said.

“I feel like we have a really good core group of people who work here who can help make improvements moving forward to take care of residents, and I’m excited about that.”

Cave comes to Life Care Center of Andover from Riverview Estates in Marquette, Kan., where she served as administrator for two years and director of nursing for four-and-a-half years. Prior to that appointment, she was a charge nurse at Bethany Home in Lindsborg, Kan., as well as a nurse at Lindsborg Community Hospital for a year.

A native of Kansas City, Kan., Cave earned her Bachelor of Nursing from Wichita State University. She received administrator training through the Case Program in Kansas while serving as director of nursing at Riverview before becoming part of the administration team. She is a mother of two and a grandmother of one.

Life Care Center of Andover, located at 621 W. 21st St., is one of seven skilled nursing facilities in Kansas managed by Life Care Centers of America.
