The El Dorado City Commission vented more frustration at the vandalism that has continued to plague the city, particularly at parks, and the Commission has urged anyone with information regarding the incidents report to the police. Calling Crimestoppers is another option. The number is 316-321-1080.
“As a tax payer, you’re paying again and again and again for new sinks, new toilets, new dispensers, plus employees to clean the graffiti that’s sprayed on the buildings,” Commissioner Kendra Wilkinson said.
Vandals have struck repeatedly for months and months.
Other items discussed:
- With all the heat, this is the time of year when taking care of pets needs extra attention.
“If you’re out and you see animals without shade, without water, don’t hesitate to report that. That’s not a good thing. Those animals don’t have any control over that,” Commissioner Nick Badway said at the meeting.
