Two Butler County organizations are coming together for a good cause. The 2016 class of Leadership Bulter, an organization focused on leadership development for professionals within Butler county, has teamed up with the Butler Homeless Initiative (BHI) for a night of fun and philanthropy to raise funds in support of the programs and services provided by BHI.

County members, corporations and anyone with a passion for helping others are invited to join in a dinner and a silent auction at the Butler Community College Welcome Center on June 29th at 6:30 PM. Guests will also be treated to an entertaining evening featuring Davis Laughlin, author of “Ripple Maker”. Ticket sales and live auction proceeds will help raise funds for the BHI winter shelter.

Single-person tickets can be purchased for $25, or grab some friends and family to fill a table of eight at $175. Dinner is included in the ticket prices (cash bar available). For more information or to purchase tickets, call 316-737-1655.

Butler Homeless Initiative (El Dorado) provides temporary housing, meals, and assistance to displaced men, women, and children in Butler County and aims to find housing and work for those who utilize BHI's services. The cold weather shelter provides a safe, warm space for those without shelter during the months of November to March.
