A young boy was standing on the shoreline of the Walnut River when he slipped on the muddy ground and slid into the river.
Firefighters laid a ladder against the ground leading into the river.
One of the firefighters climbed down to the boy and placed him in a life jacket. Then a rope was placed around the boy. Lastly, he was hoisted along the ladder and up to the flat ground.
A great job by firefighters and a lesson to be careful around moving water.
