Saturday, April 29 at The Point Event Center
The Augusta High School prom will be held on Saturday, April 29, at The Point Events Center. This year’s theme is “The Great Gatsby”.
The public walk through will be from 5 to 6 p.m. and the promenade will begin at 8:30 p.m. The north parking lot is reserved for students attending prom. Party buses and limos will need to drop off and pick up at the north entrance beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Parking for parents will be in the south, southwest parking lot and available at the Armory, Augusta High School, and side streets. Parents are asked to not park on Dearborn Street in front of The Point. Bleachers will be provided and spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
Sophomore students and parents are asked to help with clean-up on Sunday, April 30, beginning at 1 p.m., at The Point. There will be a few items that will be needed to be moved back to the high school. Sophomores will be paid to assist and the money will jump start their funds for next year’s prom.
