At a private open house on Thursday, Brian Jennings with radio station 102.1 The Bull announced supporting acts for the Dam Music Festival that will be July 28-29 at the Walnut River area at El Dorado Lake.

The list of artists included Granger Smith (aka Earl Dibbles Jr.), Logan Mize, Casey Donahew Band, Against the Grain and Craig Campbell.

Headlining acts will be announced at 7:30 a.m. March 6 during The Bobby Bones Show on The Bull.

After headliners are announced, ticket prices will inevitably go up. They're currently selling for $60 at There are no VIP tickets for sale – only general admission. To get a VIP experience, purchase of certain sponsor package levels are required. DMF partner Ross Viner recommended purchasing a sponsor package within the next two weeks for those considering it.

"Some people think I'm trying to do a Country Stampede or a Rocklahoma – we are not. That isn't what we're looking for. We're looking for a day in El Dorado – a vacation destination. A place where you can come for the weekend, spend a day on the beach, go boating and you can come in to El Dorado and enjoy what's in ... the community. I know there's a couple of other events that are happening that same weekend. And then, in the evening time, we're going to have the fun of having a live concert with some major artists that will be playing here," CJ Wilson, with Oasis Productions, said.

Starting at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 27 campers can come on site and set up. There will be a barbecue and an after hours beach pre-party for the campers that night. Campers are encouraged to decorate their campsite with the inclusion of at least three sponsors for a decoration competition. The winner of the competition will receive a traveling trophy that will be awarded each year, along with free tickets next year for the same campsite. On Friday, there will be an all-day beach party starting in the afternoon followed by a concert in the evening and an after party with a DJ. There will be another beach party, more live music and an after party on Saturday as well. Attendees and hosts will pack up on Sunday and return the lake to the way they found it.

DMF partners are fundraising with the Alzheimer's Society and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. There will be opportunities for sponsors to fundraise for their organizations as well through functions such as raffles.
