SCARF chosen as class project

The Youth Leadership Butler Class of 2015 chose SCARF’s Sunshine Children’s Home as their class project.
The students previously delivered 60 backpacks filled with essentials for the children when they leave the home, as well as clothes and other supplies.
The class also went shopping to purchase items that were on the home’s wish list.  These included an upright freezer, carpet cleaner, portable play yard, Keurig coffee maker, diapers, wipes and gift cards.
SCARF’s Executive Director Suzi Thien stated, “There are not adequate words to express our gratitude for these incredible gifts.  We are overwhelmed with the class’s generosity!”
