This weekend

The El Dorado high school drama program will be presenting “The Music Man” at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19, at the high school.
 A dinner will be served  beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, for $6. All proceeds will go back to EHS Drama.  
The musical is was written by Meredith Willson, based on a story by Willson and Franklin Lacey.  The show was a hit on Broadway, winning five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The production is directed by Katie Banks Todd and Music directed by Alex Piazza. Seventy   USD 490 students from third grade to seniors in high school will participate in the show. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students.
