Thank veteran Delbert Williams

Delbert Williams, 90, of Augusta, WWII U.S. Army veteran, will be taking part in the Kansas Honor Flight traveling to Washington, D.C. on April 19, 2017.
One of the biggest moments in the day of any soldier’s life was the arrival of letters from home.    The mail brought word from friends and family and he knew they were thinking of him.
The goal of Project Mail Call is to provide each of the Honor Flight veterans with at least one or more letters from home that they will receive at the banquet.
As part of giving Williams the recognition and appreciation for his service, family, friends and others who know him are asked to take a few minutes and share your appreciation that he and all veterans deserve, by writing a letter or sending an email “letter”.
Remember this is Top Secret, so don’t tell Williams about the letters.  The letters must be received by April 14th.
Mail to:
Veteran’s first name and last name
Kansas Honor Flight
Box 257
Andover, KS 67002

Email to: lavonnahuston@yahoo.com, and the letter will be printed out and placed in an envelope.
Take a few minutes and thank this local veteran.
