The community of Potwin kicked off their annual Watermelon Festival last night with a softball tournament and music by Mark Scott and the Classic Cowboys at the 123 Tavern.
Today’s agenda includes:
Softball tournament at 7 a.m.
Horse shoe tournament at 8 a.m., both at the softball diamonds
 Corn Hole tournament at 8 a.m. at Marshall and Miller
Parade lineup at 9:15 a.m. at Marshall and Powell Streets and parade starts at 10 a.m.
The craft fair will also open at 10 a.m. on Violet Street.
Don’t miss the kids games from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the grade school
The afternoon features lots of fun games, drawings, a car show, and free watermelon at noon and 4 p.m. at the community house.
10 Day Wish will perform from 4 to 8 p.m. at Marshall Street.
There will be a flag ceremony at 4:30 p.m. at the Community House Park
Little Red Hen performance at 7 p.m. at the Community House
The Kids Street Dance will be at 9 p.m. at the Fire Department.
The Jason Callahan Band will play from 8:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Marshall Street.
There’s something for everyone during this fun-packed day in Potwin.
