Free public reception on Friday, Feb. 9

The Kansas Oil Museum will be hosting a free to the public reception for their new exhibit, "ABCedarian: The Alphabetical Adventure" from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9.  Beverages and appetizers will be served.  RSVP’s are requested at 316-321-9333, but not required.
The exhibit has been prepared by museum staff in collaboration with Carol Turner, KOM volunteer.  Carol hand selected a wonderfully unique variety of items from the museum collections representing each letter of the alphabet.
“It was exciting searching for items within the museum’s collections that represent every letter in the alphabet,” Turner said.  “If you want to know what a zither, yellow dog or a galvanometer is, visit the Kansas Oil Museum through April 28, 2018 to view join in the "ABCedarian: The Alphabetical Adventure", Turner added.
