The group says that because of antibiotic overuse and lack of new medicine, always-evolving bugs may become untreatable. WHO cited an instance of an untreatable gonorrhea that has popped up all over the world.

    Senate Republicans today blocked a bill that seeks to raise the federal minimum wage to $10.10 an hour, up from $7.25, according to CNN. The bill likely would have failed in the Republican-controlled House anyway, but the fact that it couldn’t gain traction in the Senate has Democrats worried about the issue’s future.
