Miss Augusta Hannah Wagner wins talent preliminary Thursday night at Miss Kansas
Miss Augusta Hannah Wagner is now a double preliminary winner at the Miss Kansas Pageant in Pratt. Last night she added the preliminary talent award to the swimsuit award she won Wednesday night.
Wagner performed a ballet en pointe from “Swan Lake.” The talented dancer teaches at Midwest Dance Mechanix and is a student at WSU.
Larry Strong, director of the Miss Augusta/Miss Butler County Pageant organization was excited last night with Wagner's double wins.
“Hannah is very talented and we all knew that her contemporary performance of Swan Lake would wow the audience and the judges. I’m so proud of her,” Strong said.
Private interviews with the judges will be held today and competition will resume Saturday night. All the contestants will participate in a musicial production number. The Top 10 and the Peoples Choice will be announced. The final 11 will compete again in talent, swimsuit and evening wear before the winner is chosen.
