  • The life we are living presently is temporal.  The life that we lead after death is eternal.
The Bible speaks of eternity as the final home for God’s people.  The Scriptures tell us of the place where there are no more tears; there is no more sorrow or pain.  The things that we know today will be an after-thought when this life is over if we do not know, the richer, fuller way to eternity is in Jesus Christ.  That relationship with Him assures us of this home.
Jesus left instructions for us to find our way home!  In John the 14th chapter, the 6th verse, Jesus said, “I am the way…”
Jesus explained that the path that one chooses to follow is the path that includes Christ as our leader.  Our choices also include a path that will result in misery and suffering for all eternity.  Be careful in choosing you path through life.
Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth.”  (Jn 14: 6).  A Christian’s path leads home by following Jesus, listening, and then obeying His instructions.
The Bible is the inspired word of God that gives us instructions on how to live for Christ and how to stay on the straight and narrow course in Christ Jesus.
Many have asked how we know the way.  The disciples asked Jesus, “…how do we know the way?”  (Jn 14:5b).  Again Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.”  (Jn 14: 6b).
The life that leads home to God, the Father, is through His Son – Jesus Christ!
Do you know the way home?
