  • I’m 64 yrs old and have always showed up at the polls to vote on all levels but I’m losing faith in our election campaign system. All you hear is candidates tongue-lashing one another and giving us nothing to base a decision on when it comes to electing officials. It’s pretty sad that it’s come down to tossing a coin in the voting booth. May have to sit this one out!!
Many thanks to all the Augusta City employees on the GREAT job they have been doing all spring and summer keeping our park at the lake so clean and well mowed. Also thanks to their leaders for allowing them time to do a fine job. I appreciate it and am enjoying it so much.
I’m sick of the politicians. I’m sick of seeing their signs and I’m sick of the political ads on TV.
I find it interesting that one of the local candidates running for the Kansas House refused to participate in a debate with the other candidate. I won’t vote for someone who doesn’t even make an effort.
