Community service project

Conner Spellman of Augusta recently organized a community service project to qualify for advancement to Eagle Scout,  the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scout program.
He developed a plan and enlisted the help of fellow scouts and adult leaders from Troop 212 to revitalize the landscape of the Augusta Public Library.
Materials were donated from Warden Construction and ACE Hardware of Augusta.
The scouts removed weeds and overgrown brush, trimmed trees and spread new mulch provided by the City.
